President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Driesen is Capsugel’s President and Chief Executive Officer. He first joined Capsugel in 1983 in Bornem, Belgium, as a Quality Engineer. Over the next several years, he progressed through various operational assignments, including assuming responsibility for the manufacturing start-up of Capsugel’s joint venture in Suzhou, China. From 1990 to 1994, he served as Plant Manager in our Bornem, Belgium facility before becoming General Manager of Capsugel France and subsequently Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Mr. Driesen was appointed President of Capsugel in 2002 and became the President and CEO following the KKR Acquisition in 2011. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Shroyer is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He joined Capsugel in August 2011 from Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK), a former division of Honeywell, where he had served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2006. Prior to his appointment as CFO of ATK, Mr. Shroyer served as ATK’s Vice President of Operations, as well as Vice President and General Manager, ATK Ordnance Systems, one of three divisions within the ATK Precision Systems Group. Mr. Shroyer joined Honeywell in 1986 as a staff accountant where he held a series of key accounting positions including International Finance Director for ATK’s demilitarization operations and Finance Director and Program Manager for ATK Precision Fuze Company. In 1998, Mr. Shroyer moved to ATK’s manufacturing facility in Rocket Center, West Virginia, as Director of Business Management and was promoted to President of ATK Tactical Systems in 2002. Mr. Shroyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific
Mr. Angelini is the Senior Vice President of Capsugel's Asia Pacific Region. He is responsible for leading overall operations for Asia Pacific, which includes China, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, to drive and maximize business results for the region. He was appointed to this role in 2013 and was formerly the GM for Capsugel China. He has more than 20 years of experience with Capsugel, including responsibilities in Sales and Marketing for Brazil and Greenwood, SC, USA. In 1998, he was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing EMEA and was the principal driver of market growth with alternate polymers and liquids. He was appointed General Manager of Capsugel Japan in 2005. Prior to joining Capsugel, he worked for Novartis and Elli Lilly as well as Shell and as an independent franchise owner. He holds a master’s degree of Business and Administration from the University of Louvain, Belgium.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Strategy
Mr. Cullivan has been our Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Strategy since 2012. From 2009 to 2012, he was founder and President of Business Strategy Associates LLC, a strategy and business development advisory firm. Previously, Mr. Cullivan was with Cardinal Health, Inc., as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. His experience also includes roles as a Principal at strategy consultancy Marakon Associates, co-founder of Sensoria, Inc., an explosives detection and medical diagnostics company and Product Development manager at telecommunications company PictureTel Corporation, now known as Polycom Inc. He began his career in the U.S. Army as an air cavalry helicopter flight commander. Mr. Cullivan holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
John de Grandpre
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. de Grandpre is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He has supported Capsugel since joining Pfizer in 2004. Previously, Mr. de Grandpre was an associate at Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan and Swidler Berlin in Washington, DC, where his practice included representation of public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, ‘34 Act filings and general corporate matters. Mr. de Grandpre received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Mr. Enokian is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales. He joined the Company in March 1986 and has served in a number of sales management and marketing positions with increasing responsibly, including Area Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Director Marketing and the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Americas Region. Prior to joining Capsugel, Mr. Enokian worked for Eli Lilly’s Brazil affiliate, serving as Group Product Manager and National Sales Manager in their Agricultural Products Division. Mr. Enokian holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an M.B.A. from Louvain University in Belgium.
Keith Hutchison, PhD
Senior Vice President, Research and Development
Dr. Hutchison is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President of Research and Development. He joined the Company in 2004 and his responsibilities include oversight of all of Capsugel’s R&D. Prior to joining Capsugel, he had more than 25 years of experience in various pharmaceutical/healthcare R&D positions, including Vice President of Dosage Form Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions in New Jersey, Vice President of Product Development at Cardinal Health/RPScherer in Swindon, United Kingdom, and various positions at Wyeth Research, in Taplow, United Kingdom, and GlaxoSmithKline (formerly Wellcome Foundation Ltd), in Dartford, United Kingdom. Dr. Hutchison holds a Ph.D. in Drug Delivery System research from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Aston in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He is also a Pharmacist registered in the United Kingdom with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Ms. Kelly is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She joined Pfizer in 2008 as Vice President, HR Lead, Pfizer Animal Health, and subsequently, moved to the Capsugel division in 2009. She has served as a global HR leader in the Pharmaceutical industry for more than 16 years. Ms. Kelly joined Pfizer from Schering-Plough Corporation, where she had held the position of Vice President, Human Resources, Global Specialty Operations, which was comprised of the worldwide Animal Health and Consumer HealthCare divisions, since 2003. Prior to that, she held a number of HR positions with increasing responsibility in Schering’s Animal Health business, including Vice President, Human Resources from 1998 to 2003. She started her career at Schering-Plough supporting various sales and marketing organizations in human pharmaceuticals. Prior to Schering-Plough, she held HR positions at National Data Corporation and Concurrent Computer Corporation. Ms. Kelly received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University and an M.B.A. in Management from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
Senior Vice President of Global Operations
Mr. Macci is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President of Global Operations. He joined the company in 2013 and has global responsibility for Capsugel’s manufacturing, quality, supply chain and environmental, health and safety functions. Mr. Macci joined Capsugel from Caris Life Sciences in Arizona where he served from 2010 to 2013 as both a consultant and as the Vice President of Quality and Strategic Supplier Management. From 2008 through 2010, he was the Senior Vice President of Global Operations with Phibro Animal Health Corporation in New Jersey. Mr. Macci spent 21 years with Schering-Plough Corporation in New Jersey where he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, including General manager, Vice President, Technical Operations, Vice President, Supply Chain Management and Divisional Compliance Officer and prior to his departure, Vice President, Divestiture Businesses and Head of Americas and Pacific Regions. Mr. Macci began his career at Lederle Laboratories. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Iona College and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University and is a registered pharmacist in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President and President, Dosage Forms
Mr. Patel is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President and President, Dosage Forms. Prior to joining Capsugel in July 2012, he worked at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Inc., a specialty generic pharmaceutical company, where he held positions of Executive Vice President & Head, North America, and Senior Vice President & Head, Corporate Development & Strategic Planning. Mr. Patel’s experience prior to joining Dr. Reddy’s in 2003 included VP, Corporate Development, at CTIS, Inc., and co-founder/CEO of MedOnTime, Inc., both which were healthcare information technology companies. He started his career as a consultant with Marakon Associates, a strategic consulting firm. Mr. Patel holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A.S. in Systems Engineering from the Moore School of Engineering, University of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Mr. Robertson is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer. He joined the company in September 2011 and has held a number of positions in engineering and IT at large multinational corporations, including ABB, The Gillette Company, and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. Most recently, he was the SVP and Chief Information Officer for Novartis Consumer Healthcare in Parsippany, NJ. Originally from the United Kingdom, he has worked in various locations across Europe and the United States. Mr. Robertson holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Schutzer is Capsugel’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and joined the business in September 2011. Mr. Schutzer has more than 30 years of experience in business management, marketing management, strategic planning, brand management and new business development. From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Schutzer was Vice President of Global Marketing at Owens Illinois (O-I). Prior to O-I, Mr. Schutzer spent two years at Koch Industries/Invista as commercial development director and served 15 years at DuPont in both the textiles and polymers businesses holding various regional and global positions. He also has four years of experience in the advertising business. Having lived and worked in Latin America, the Asia Pacific and North America, Mr. Schutzer’s diverse industry experience includes packaging, apparel and textiles, consumer durables, home construction, chemicals and marketing services. A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mr. Schutzer earned a Business Management Degree from Brazil’s FGV School of Business.
