Amorphous Solid Dispersion Formulations Using the Spray Dry Process - Performance, Stability and Manufacture

Amorphous spray-dried dispersions (SDDs) serve as powerful formulation tool to enhance the bioavailability of compounds with low solubility—a problem encountered with an estimated 60 to 90 percent of compounds in early development. This webinar reviews the performance, stability, and manufacturability of amorphous SDDs and describes the Rapid Advancement Process, which uses predictive model-based approaches to formulation, stability assessment, and process definition to minimize development time and the amount of API needed in the feasibility assessment stage.
