Enabling Oral Delivery of Sensitive Molecules

Enteric capsule drug delivery technology has been developed to deliver oral dosage forms with full enteric protection and rapid release in the gastrointestinal tract without the use of coatings. Enteric protection is achieved by incorporating pharmaceutically approved enteric polymers in the capsule shell using conventional capsule manufacturing processes, enabling oral delivery of sensitive molecules, such as nucleotides and peptides, biological products such as vaccines, and live biotherapeutic products (LBPs). This webinar describes the development and capabilities of this enabling technology and describes its evaluation in a human biostudy.
