What factors impact dose emission in a capsule-base device?

Factors such as the technology of the device, the quality of the formulation, the patient ability to properly use the device, can all have an impact on the quality and quantity of emitted doses. With regard to the capsules, the critical parameters impacting the powder retention, and, thereby, dose emission, are the moisture level and the lubricant content. Capsugel's expertise with DPI capsules, ensures the powder retention in our capsules remain very low (under 2%), resulting in a high emitted dose.
