Technology Selection for Enhancing Bioavailability

Compounds that require bioavailability enhancement to achieve adequate absorption are increasingly common in pharmaceutical industry pipelines. Many technologies are available to address this problem, but the selection of enabling technologies can prove difficult. This webinar focuses on the rationale for selecting enabling technologies based on compound’s physical properties (e.g., melting and glass-transition temperatures, Log P) and product specifications (e.g., dose, pharmacokinetics, permeability). Case studies are presented that illustrate technology and formulation selection based on these factors.
