Designing the Ideal Multiparticulate Formulation for Pharmaceutical Use

June 28, 2016

Multiparticulates offer a high degree of capability for attaining oral pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, or target product profile goals. Common product characteristics such as fixed-dose combinations, taste-masked, and/or pediatric formulations are readily attainable with scalable processes. Further, bioavailability enhancing formulation concepts can be integrated into these multiparticulate formulations. Multiparticulate processing options include fluid bed layering, extrusion / spheronization, mini-tabs and spray-congeal technology.

During this webinar, key considerations in designing multiparticulate formulations and processing will be discussed with representative case studies.
