Join Lonza AG as a Diagnostics Technician in Greenwood, SC, USA. This position is responsible for the operation of hard capsule machines (HCM) that produce capsules for Lonza Greenwood. Contribute to our dedicated team's success and impact the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hard capsule machines (HCM) to produce capsules, adhering strictly to plant policies and safety guidelines.
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities of an Operator Support Associate (OSA), Borsor Operator, and Quality Management Associate (QMA), including Vcaps Plus and Press-Fit.
  • Operate cartons at Borsor, iBox, ILD, Unisor per Work Instructions & Lonza Manufacturing Order.
  • As a QMA, operate the HCM, conduct quality checks, and disposition products based on sample results. Troubleshoot basic issues on the HCM.
  • As an OSA, change GFTs at the HCM, maintain general housekeeping in production areas, and remove scrap from the HCM.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Additional hours/days may be required based on business needs. Attendance in the plant site is considered essential.

Other Duties:

  • Be flexible and willing to shift positions within the shift as needed.
  • Meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Efficiency metrics.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school Diploma
  • Score 100 or below on the Color Test.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Passing scores on all required Work Keys and Bennett Mechanical Testing.
  • Basic computer skills.
