Join Lonza in Tampa, FL as a Department Lead - Packaging 2nd Shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assembly instructions according to Batch Record requirements for Packaging and Labeling processes in alignment with cGMP guidelines. This will necessitate timely and organized documentation to ensure compliance.
- Provide support to the Manufacturing Group, QA, Warehouse, and Facility operations by strictly adhering to company and FDA cGMP requirements.
- Perform cleaning of Primary and Secondary Packaging rooms and equipment, including Room Sanitizations per department procedures.
- Assign staff to production rooms as necessary to perform production activities.
- Resolve packaging blocking issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting of equipment and machinery as needed.
- Support projects that progress our SQDC improvement as a group and as a site.
- Follow batch record instructions in the manual process for Packaging.
- Assist in the operation and set-up of automated equipment for certain packaging operations.
- Reconcile and move materials between packaging areas and the warehouse.
- Coordinate the cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms.
- Support Equipment Specialists in the execution of qualification protocols for new equipment.
- Stay current on SOPs, logbook entries, and GMP documentation.
- Act as a trainer for Operators as needed by management.
Key Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience
- GMP Experience
