The pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries are under growing pressure to reduce their environmental impact, along the value chain: from downstream to own manufacturing, to upstream supply chain. Manufacturing of excipients can become an important step in the journey for emissions reduction. At Lonza Capsules & Health Ingredients, we’ve made significant strides in decarbonizing our operations—through automation, energy efficiency, and sustainable design—while maintaining high standards for product quality and regulatory compliance.

In this webinar, you will learn how Lonza is tackling Scope 1 and 2 emissions in capsule manufacturing through waste heat recovery, renewable energy integration, and data-driven sustainability strategies. Our experts will walk you through key innovations, measurable outcomes, and how these efforts are contributing to product-level carbon footprint reductions.

This session is ideal for sustainability leaders, manufacturing and operations professionals, regulatory and R&D teams, and pharmaceutical and nutraceutical decision-makers responsible for implementing environmental strategies or aligning operations with global climate goals.
