Amorphous spray-dried dispersions (SDDs) have emerged as a highly effective, readily scalable platform technology for mitigating bioavailability challenges with low-solubility drugs. This technical article describes an efficient scale-up methodology for SDDs, focusing on two critical areas: (1) atomization of the feed solution into droplets and (2) droplet drying.
