Capsugel® Vcaps® Plus are made from HPMC - hydroxypropylmethylcellulose - a cellulose derived from pine trees. Due to a patented thermogellation manufacturing process, no gelling agents are required in manufacturing to form the capsules. They are considered a second generation vegetarian capsule - because they perform just like gelatin while bringing the benefits of a vegetarian alternative.
